How do I complete the required right to rent checks?

If you have more questions about what identification documents we require to verify your ‘Right To Rent’ in the UK please visit the user guide

Do you charge fees or take a holding deposit?

We do not charge any move in or referencing fees. If you were to look at one of our properties and decide you wanted to proceed, we would take one weeks worth of rent upfront from you to reserve the property. This one weeks worth of rent would then be go towards and be deducted from the balance of your first months rent.

What if my tenancy application is rejected?

When viewing one of our properties, we ask that you are upfront and honest with us. We talk through any additional requirements that may be needed on your tenancy at this point before the application process. We need to understand your circumstances to ensure your application is successful. If we do not think it is possible for you to rent our property, we will tell you before you place any holding deposit.

Do you accept Housing Benefit?

We welcome housing benefit and like to help wherever we can.  All housing benefit payments (paid four weekly in arrears) must be paid directly to us, as well as authority given to discuss any housing benefit claim with the council. One months rent as deposit plus one months rent in advance will also be required. In some circumstances a guarantor may also be required.

Do you accept Pets?

At certain properties we are able to accept pets and charge an additional £25 per month. If you have a pet, and we agree the pet can live at your property, we will add a pet agreement to the tenancy. All animals in our properties must be vaccinated, microchipped, flea & worm treated appropriately.
