Who Are We

We are a family run business of Bournemouth & Poole based Private Landlords who are accredited members of the NLA – National Landlords Association. The NLA Code of Practice (CoP) is designed to raise and maintain standards in the private-rented sector. It sets out the standards of good practice that member landlords are expected to observe in connection with the letting of their residential properties, and it seeks to promote good relations between landlord and tenant by ensuring a good standard of service to tenants. It has always been a priority of ours to stay up to date with any new legislation and compliance rules.

Since 1988, we have been refurbishing and renting out our properties and we have enjoyed our 30+ years experience. All properties through BH Rented Homes are family owned and controlled. We strive to provide a high standard of accommodation. We pledge that every one of our properties will be properly and promptly maintained – however you must advise us promptly of any repairs required in order for us to act!

 

Deposits

Upon moving in to your new home, we only require the following:

  • One Months Rent in Advance
  • One Months Rent as Deposit

We do not charge any move in or referencing fees. If you were to look at one of our properties and decide you wanted to proceed, we would take one weeks worth of rent upfront from you to reserve the property. This small payment would then be go towards and be deducted from the balance of your first months rent. At the end of your tenancy, we follow the usual legislation when it comes to the return of your deposit.
